an independent community project · Solana mainnet
In 2010, one of Bitcoin’s earliest faucets gave away five bitcoin to anyone willing to solve a simple CAPTCHA. The coins were not presented as an investment or a prize. They were handed out so people could touch a new network, make a transaction, and understand why it mattered.
The amount sounds impossible now, but that was never the point. A new network is only real once people can use it.
Faucet brings that original idea to Solana. Paste a wallet address, prove you are human, and receive a small drop of SOL to explore the chain for yourself. No purchase, application, allocation, or promise. Just enough SOL to begin.
The tap is funded by Pump creator fees. Those fees flow into the public faucet address and are handed straight back out as — drops.
Copy your Solana address from Phantom, Solflare, or another Solana wallet. Nothing connects, nothing is signed.
A short verification protects the faucet from automated draining.
The server checks eligibility, then broadcasts the transaction itself.
The drop lands directly in the address you entered, every time you are eligible.
these are the rules the backend enforces today.
Only valid, on-curve Solana wallet addresses can claim. Program-derived addresses are not eligible.
Network address, network range, device and wallet are all checked. Refreshing, switching wallets or reopening the page does not create another claim.
Each person gets one drop total. The tap matches on network address, network range and a signed device marker, and each solved puzzle can only ever be spent once, so a script cannot camp the faucet with fresh wallets.
The browser cannot override claim history, cooldowns, or faucet limits. Reservations are made atomically in the database before any SOL is sent.
When the available balance is gone, claims pause until the faucet is replenished.

SOL is the native currency of Solana, the network used by Pump.fun. It pays transaction fees; it is not a Pump.fun token.
Yes. You never connect a wallet, sign anything, or approve anything — you just paste an address. The faucet wallet pays the gas and broadcasts the transaction.
Every transaction on Solana needs a small amount of SOL for transaction fees. Without it, a fresh wallet cannot do anything on the network.
One claim per person, ever. Network address, network range, device and wallet all count, and solved puzzles are single-use.
The usual reasons are: the address is not a valid SOL address, it is a program-derived address, the cooldown has not finished, the human check failed, or the faucet balance is too low to cover a drop.
Claims pause and the page shows that the tap is dry. Nothing is queued and no promise is made; check back after it is refilled.
Pump creator fees fund the faucet. Those fees are collected and forwarded to the public faucet address, which is what pays out every drop.
Yes — send SOL to the public faucet address shown in the reservoir section. Contributions are voluntary, non-refundable, and are not an investment.
